The Huawei Y7 Prime is equipped with a large IPS display and a massive 4,000mAh battery for incredible usage. The smartphone is already up for grab at Vmall and is also expected to hit the other Asian tech markets soon. According to GSMArena, the Huawei Y7 Prime sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,280 pixels by 720 pixels. However, it features a relatively low pixel density of 267ppi (pixels-per-inch) and 2.5D glass covering. The device has a metal body measuring 153.6 (L) x 76.4 (W) x 8.35 (H) mm and weighs about 165 grams. Under the hood, the Huawei Y7 Prime is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 (8 x A53, Adreno 505) processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and a respectable 32GB of internal storage. The device is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery and runs on an Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 customization on top. According to Huawei, the Huawei Y7 Prime features a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor. The finger print scanner has been placed on the back panel just below the rear camera as the front face of the phone does not have a physical home button. He reaction time of the finger print scanner is claimed to be 0.3 seconds. The device is fitted with a micro-USB port, instead of the newer USB Type-C port. Huawei Y7 Prime is included with two SIM slots with LTE, plus GSM and CDMA support. It also comes with a Wi-Fi b/g/n, microUSB, a 3.5mm headphone jack, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, compass, gravity sensor, phone status indicator and fingerprint sensor. The device is available in three colors options such as the Streamer Gold, Silver or Gray. The smartphone has a price tag of HK$1800, or roughly $230.
