The China-based consumer electronics manufacturer, Shenzhen detailed its upcoming device earlier this year. According to JXD Official Online Store, it features a 7-inch IPS LCD display panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and is powered by the RockChip RK3288 CPU, a 64-bit chip with four Cortex-A17 cores clocked at a maximum frequency of 1.8GHz and the Mali-T764 GPU. The device will also boast 4GB of RAM of the DDR3 variety, in addition to sporting 64GB of internal flash memory that will expandable by up to 128GB by using a dedicated microSD card slot. Similar to JXD's previous revisions of its Android gaming tablet series, the JXD S192K was set to have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $359; this means that the device will compete in the mid-range segment of the market. The internal hardware that powers the JXD S192K is relatively great and the device was set to the full-fledged physical controller. The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer is hoping will differentiate the device from some of its competitors. According to Fun Stock Retro, its physical controllers are a non-removable part of the tablet making the JXD S192K an exclusively gamer-oriented product with a relatively limited audience. Still, JXD has been filling this niche for a few years now and with the company continuing its efforts to do, and it seems that there's enough demand for Android gaming tablets to make products like the JXD S192K commercially viable. One of the unique software features of JXD S192K gaming tablet is that it ships with more than 2,500 retro games that its owners will be able to download free of charge. The Chinese company stated that the 10,000mAh battery powering the JXD S192K can provide up to 12 hours of battery life. However, it's still unclear which exact version of Android is the JXD S192K running.
