OPPO R11 Leak On Weibo Gives A Good Look At Phone’s Dual Rear Camera Setup By Vittorio Hernandez | May 23, 2017 12:51 PM EDT A new leak of the OPPO R11 smartphone was posted on Sina Weibo, China’s most popular microblogging site. What was seen in the leak was the back panel of the upcoming smartphone. It provides a good look at the device’s dual rear camera setup and design. The OPPO R11’s two rear cameras are on the top left corner beside the LED flash adjacent to the sensors. Also visible in the leak are antenna lines on its metallic body at the bottom and top. Android Soul notes that the rear camera placement and antenna lines have a resemblance to the iPhone 7 Plus which is not surprising because it is common among Chinese smartphone makers to copy the design of top OEMs. Since OPPO would not confirm a leak, the tech website points out that it appears to be an authentic image because of its similarity in appearance to previous leaks and an official teaser from the phone manufacturer. But while there is a leak of an image, there is no leak on the launch date of the OPPO R11. But the person who leaked the image said the smartphone from China would likely roll out in early June, Android Headlines reports. Previous leaks say that the smartphone would sport a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm 660 chipset, Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The screen of the OPPO R11 is a 5.5-inch Full HD panel and it would have a 20MP front camera. Its OS would likely be the Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but it would be layered with the OPPO custom UI Color OS. Gizbot adds the leak from TENNA hints that there would be three variants of the phone. There is the OPPO R11, OPPO R11PlusK, and OPPO R11T. Although there are no specs or images for the two variants, TENNA says it got radio transmission approval in China. However, the listing from the State Radio Regulation of China lists four variants for the OPPO R11 series, although there are no details or leaks about the fourth variant.
