Oppo R11 Will Be Powered By Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC By Rida | May 22, 2017 05:37 AM EDT Oppo R11 smartphone, which was earlier in the rumor stage, is slowly getting each of its speculations confirmed by the company. Oppo has confirmed on Weibo that the Oppo R11 will be powered by a recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The speculation of this smarphone featuring SD660 SoC was made prior to the launch event of processors by Qualcomm. Enthusiasts can now assume how powerful will be the new upcoming flagship from Chinese smartphone manufacturer. According to the Weibo post, the Oppo R11 is clearly said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The post also reveals that the SD660 chipset is an amazing image processor and has lower power consumption with stronger performance. It further expands that it has great support for the smartphone camera technology to achieve a smooth optical zoom, fast automatic, focusing, more realistic picture color and amazing low light camera effect. According to The Android Soul, the Oppo R11 was spotted on TENAA couple of days back revealing many of its specifications and features. It is reported that the Oppo R11 smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor at 2.2GHz, which is now confirmed, was earlier spotted on TENAA powering the phone. The processor is reported to be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The storage can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD. Based on the recent teaser shared by Oppo, the Oppo R11 is expected to come with 20MP+16MP dual lens setup up to 10x optical zoom. It is reported that the smartphone will be packed with a 2,900mAh battery and is said to arrive with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS straight out of the box.
