The game was set to be released this month. According to Ubergizmo, SNK will increase "The King of Fighters XIV" lifespan by bringing it over to PC via Steam. This news was currently announced at a press conference and through a tweet on May 9. With this, alternate costumes and appearances, graphical overhauls, more characters including characters from other games, hitbox fixes, animations, and slowly mods for those who like a specific fighting pace and constant thread of new content is now available via the modding community. According to Gematsu, this is a smart move by SNK, but it comes in as a no-brainer given that it was kind of obvious that the game will hit PC like Blazblue, Guilty Gear, and other recent combat fighting games. Fans that enjoy "The King of Fighters" series can play it regularly which offers more exposure to their favorite game/series. Players can invite new folks to the scene who never played "The King of Fighters XIV." "The King of Fighters XIV" was originally launched way back in August 2016 intended for PlayStation 4, which received some updates and new characters to help extends it lifespan into the future. As for now, developers of the game will bring the fighting game to PC via Steam. "The King of Fighters XIV" developers will also offer a Closed Beta for gamers to test their stability and performance fairs as soon as the PC port will soon arrive sometime, which will be available for pre-orders later on this May.
