‘Ashes of Creation’ Hits A $750K Goal In Just 12 Hours; The New Revolutionary MMORPG By Ralphy Bonn Sim | May 04, 2017 06:40 PM EDT Recently, "Ashes of Creation" is an ambitious new MMORPG. The passion project of a millionaire businessman who set out to make his dream into reality, and it seems this his vision is effective; the game has just blown past its $750,000 Kickstarter goal in just 12 hours after going live. According to PC Gamer, "Ashes of Creation" key promises were a living reactive world, where a volcano may erupt and flatten a city on one server. Players will also be free for building and destroying new towns, castles, and marketplaces. These challenges will be permanent, altering the game world and even its very landscape. In "Ashes of Creation," there's a node system to enable those changes in which player's activity can add experience that occurs; with nodes leveling up as players do. By having enough experience, a node might become a city, village, and even a metropolis. Players can also then govern or control these population centers, through democracy or through force in making political decisions about how to develop the town. According to MMORPG, there will also be a local economy of each religion, as well as resources unevenly distributed in set quantities; incentivizing trade routes. Lucrative routes can be argued or fought over, and even plundered in "Ashes of Creation." From the typical MMORPG, it features an epic story and a number of original races and classes from which to choose. In "Ashes of Creation," these will interact with one another in which classes changing the basic chassis provided by core racial archetypes. Developer's goal is to create a system where an elven fighter feels different but serves the same role as a dwarven conqueror. Meanwhile, Intrepid is a new studio full of experienced MMORPG developers, the makers of "Ashes of Creation." It was assembled by the creative director Steven Sharif. Among the games on their collective CVs are "Planetside 1 and 2," "XCOM: Enemy Within," "Star Wars Galaxies," and "EverQuest."
