‘Resident Evil: Vendetta' Announced Its Blu-Ray DVD Release Date Along With Several Features By Ralphy Bonn Sim | May 03, 2017 05:52 PM EDT "Resident Evil: Vendetta" CG movie will be in theaters this June, and viewers won't have to wait long before they will able to watch it on their home screens. Sony Pictures announced that Vendetta's digital release was scheduled for June 20, which is a a day after its theatrical release. According to Games Radar, "Resident Evil: Vendetta" 4K release is a three-disc combo pack featuring 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray versions. The 4K version features HDR and Dolby Atmos support where BestBuy will have an exclusive steel book version available for all buyers. The 4K HDR, including Dolby Atmos versions and the standard Blu-ray edition, will come with a bonus disc that consists of behind the scenes footage from the last year's Tokyo Game Show and with two featurettes. As what Sony describes it that viewers will be able to assemble with the BSAA Operatives team to receive the intelligence briefing to defeat a deadly threat in BSAA Mission Briefing: Combat Arias. While director Takanori Tsujimoto with his creative team lead fans in a conversation on the film's design aesthetic and what it took to evolve the story in Designing The World of Vendetta. "Resident Evil: Vendetta" plot was fleshed out for us in a second trailer released in February, and features a maniac who wants to start a zombie outbreak in New York City because he wants revenge, Dread Central reported. "Resident Evil: Vendetta" will be the third entry in the Resident Evil CG movie series which sets in New York and features series mainstays such as Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield, and Leon Kennedy. The film's international release is set for May 27, with an exclusive one-night only theatrical release in North America on June 19th, with tickets available through Fathom Events.
