The sales number of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have crossed 55 million units at the end of Q1 in the running year. According to GSM Arena, a report revealed by Research Firm Strategy Analytics stated that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge flagship sold over 55 million units in the running year. It's also reported that in the first quarter of 2017, the South-Korean tech-giant sold 7.2 million units of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Another report by International Data Corporation (IDC) stated that Samsung regained the first position in the worldwide Smartphone Shipment Growth 2017 list. The smartphone shipment volume is highest for Samsung and the huge sale of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge helped to jump the Samsung market share by 22.8 percent. In line with another Strategy Analytics Neil Mawston, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are available in dozens of countries globally and the S7 Edge is wildly popular because of its curved hardware design blended with a sidebar of apps which is easy to use. According to Android Authority, further researches have revealed that Samsung sold 92.8 million handsets in the quarter one of 2017. Among those handsets, approximately 86 percent were smartphones that helped to increase the shipment volume rate to the highest, as well as the shipment growth rate up to 23 percent. It's also reported that the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have already started to create a huge popularity in both South Korea and the US.
