AMD Radeon RX Vega To Release In Computex And Bundle With Quake Champions By Harsh Soni h_soniji@rediffmail.com | May 01, 2017 01:53 PM EDT AMD confirmed that the highly anticipated Radeon RX Vega will be released anytime this quarter. The quarter only has two months left, so the new AMD RX Vega graphics card can be expected to be completely done by this time. Recently, AMD Radeon RX Vega packaging spotted in a special edition, with Quake Champions. It looks like that the AMD Radeon RX Vega is already geared up to make its release as a leaked packaging has just surfaced. A picture of the final packaging for the upcoming AMD Radeon RX Vega is now surfacing online. The said leaked packaging image does not reveal a complicated design. In fact, the design was very simple which it does not reflect the new specs except the already known features retained from the previous Radeon RX 500. According to Tweak Town, Quake Champions is the new first-person shooter from id Software built for the PC. It would make sense to have the most advanced GPU ever made - with its new Vega NCU and HBM2 tech - to be featured with AMD Radeon RX Vega. According to VideoCardz, the packaging also lists DirectX 12, Vulkan, and AMD's Radeon Chill technology - which for now, shows that there are no Vega exclusive sports which set it apart from the Polaris-based AMD RX 500 series. Moreover, the leaked packaging of AMD Radeon RX Vega also has the image of the game "Quake Champions" on the front side. This led to another theory that the much-awaited AMD Radeon RX Vega card will most likely come with a bundle of the said game. AMD remains silent with the official release date of the AMD Radeon RX Vega card. However, reports and speculations point to an end May release, particularly in the upcoming Computex event 2017.
