It was first spotted on an Indonesian website POSTEL, in December 2016. The BlackBerry BBC 100-1 smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Soc with 1.4 GHz Quad coreSnapdragon 425 processor. The smartphone will run on android 7.0 Nougatversion. According to GSM Arena, the BlackBerry BBC 100-1 is the first phone that incorporates dual sim and supports 4G/LTE networks has an internal storage of 32 GB and is backed by a 4GB of RAM that is sufficient for almost all kinds of functions.TheBlackBerry BBC 100-1 comes with a 5.5inch display with HD resolution of 720x 1280.The display is protected by a corning gorilla glass thus making the phone resistant to scratches. As per the leaked specs in January this year, the smartphone shall feature 13 MP primary camera backed by LED flashlight and auto focus. It has 8 MP selfie camera on the front. It offers various shooting modes like Continuous Shooting and High Dynamic Range mode (HDR). The Camera features include Gesture Shot, Voice Capture, Face Beauty, Smile detection, Face Detection, Self-timer, Touch focus, GIF Creator, Snapshot Mode. The camera could also do HD video recording. The phone also carries the loudspeaker and a 3.5mm audio jack. The BlackBerry BBC 100-1 comes with 3000 mAh capacity battery, thus can provide long usage after a single charge. The battery is supposed to support fast charging. The connectivity options include 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.1, A-GPS and microUSB 2.0. Like previous models of BlackBerry phones, BlackberryBBC-100-1 offers ultimate data protection. The blackberryBBC-100-1 is an all-screen phone with minimal bezels. The phone will be sold at 2199 AED in UAE; this means the BBC100-1 is going to be an affordable handset, as per Gadgets Post. For Indonesian markets, the BlackBerry BBC 100-1 will be manufactured by MerahPutih. Whereas the previous models of BlackBerry devices were manufactured by TCL. The smartphone will soon be launched in the country.
