Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 2 Launched On Cricket With Amazing Specs And Features

Recent updates state that Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 2 has launched on Cricket. According to reports, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 2 is believed to be the successor the Galaxy Amp Prime smartphone that was launched last year.

While most enthusiasts were delighted about the launch of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in the United State, their joy was heightened by the launch of the new budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 2. According to Phone Arena, the new device is a rebranded version of the Galaxy J3 Emerge which was launched by Sprint earlier this year.

However, the report states that unlike the Galaxy J3 Emerge which runs the Android 6 Marshmallow, the new Galaxy Amp Prime 2 runs Android 7 Nougat out of the box. the new device sports a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage space expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD slot, and a 2600 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC with a quad-core 1.35GHz processor, a 2 MP front-facing camera and a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash light. As already mentioned above, the new device runs Android 7.0 Nougat, according to GSMarena. In terms of connectivity, the new device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE, microUSB port and measures 5.55" x 2.76" x 0.34." The new device has some similarities with the Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime, which also features a 5-inch Super AMOLED screen and a 5-MP camera that uses gestures to snap selfies.

The device is already available from Cricket Wireless and an interested buyer can purchase the new Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 2 right away. It is reported that Cricket is selling the device for $149.99 with activation and no contract required. It is also reported that the newly launched Galaxy S8 is also currently available on Cricket for $699.
