First images of the new Motorola Moto Z2 Play are making rounds on the Internet. The appearance of the Motorola Moto Z2 Play suggests that it will retain its predecessor's image with a very much little difference.

According to The Verge, leaked images of the Motorola Moto Z2 Play indicate a strong resemblance from last year's Motorola Moto Z Play. With a keen eye, there is only a slight difference on the redesigned Home button. Aside from doubling as a Home button and fingerprint sensor, it is also reported to support swiping gestures in lieu of the on-screen navigation feature. Several speculations claim that the Motorola Moto Z2 Play will also boast the same powerhouse battery as its predecessor.

Other rumors suggest that the Motorola Moto Z2 Play will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. It will also include 3GB of RAM with 32GB expandable storage. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play will also sport a display screen of 1080p resolution and a 16-megapixel shooter incorporated with a dual LED selfie flash. And how can we not forget about that rumored enormous battery with 3510mAh. With a powerhouse battery capacity, the Motorola Moto Z2Play can survive a heavy day with a lot of juice leftover as reported by Techno Buffalo.

Furthermore, reports also claim that the Motorola Moto Z2 Play will be supported by Motorola's Moto Mods. Previously, Motorola introduced an interchangeable hardware dubbed as Moto Mods. Several of these Moto Mods include a battery pack, a speaker or projector mod. Motorola, as reported promises to keep developing and releasing Moto Mods in the following years. It is no surprise that we will be seeing the Moto Mods with the next-gen Motorola devices as well.

Other than the leaked images and rumors circling around, not much is heard about the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. However, rumors suggest that the Motorola Moto Z2 Play could make its debut before August of this year.
