The game was launched for Nintendo Switch last month and continues today with a new patch that vastly improves the game's overall performance along with new contents for owners of the game to check out. According to GameSpot, the update starts to form its performance improvements. "Super Bomberman R" 1.3 patch features a frame rate of the entire game have been improved. Slight adjustments have also been made to game's controls, making for a smoother experience. Sources also noted that lags are less likely to happen now when every participant in the Online Battle mode has a good network connection. The game has now an option so that players can search opponents that have good connections. "Super Bomberman R" performance boost has been displayed in a new comparison video that shows the game running before and after the 1.3 patch. It's not hard to spot the difference, as the video show the game running at 60fps after the patch. Aside from that, "Super Bomberman R" update mainly focuses on balancing issues and optimization that includes Four new VS stages have been added to the shop, Two new series of accessories have been added to the shop, COM on the Multiplayer Battle Mode, and Five Dastardly Bombers on the Story Mode, as noted by IGN. The rest of "Super Bomberman R" 1.3 patch has to do with content additions and gameplay tweaks. The strength of the Five Dastardly Bombers from the story mode has been adjusted, and the difficulties of beginner and normal modes have been reduced. "Super Bomberman R" is available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. IGN were mixed on the game when they covered it last month, giving it 3.5/5 stars in their review. "Super Bomberman R" lack of content was its biggest flaw, making it a tough sell at full price.
