Google Nexus 6P Issue: Google Is Now Planning To Shut Down Nexus Devices

Previous speculations have been made that Google is shutting down the Nexus 6P device. Well, sad to say speculations are turning into facts. Due to the constant problems on Nexus 6P device, starting from bootloop to premature shutdown where Huawei and Google might be facing classic lawsuit action.

Users are complaining for the unusable Nexus 6P after the problems persist. The device's issue started when several users upgraded their handsets to Android 7.0 Nougat. After the upgrade, there have been a few glitches following a premature shutdown. As noted to the lawsuit filed by Chimicles & Tikellis LLP, the problem is still present even when the Nexus 6P were downgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

According to Android Authority, LG-made Nexus 5X was now reportedly getting a similar issue as several users complained the bootlooping has caused their handsets stuck in a cycle of the restart and boot up the process. The Google Company shows their support by releasing a stable Android 7.1.2 for Nexus 6P where it requires at least 26MB of space. This software version was rolled out specifically to the Nexus 6P devices which come with bug fixes and a few improvements on camera departments and on the device's battery. The current software update also fixes audio issue. Unfortunately, the recent software update has caused another problem as some users face fingerprint reader bug.

As noted by Android Community, Nexus 6P has been one of the most favorite Android smartphones especially with the pure Android experience and budget-friendly price which actually an affordable version of Google Pixel. Theories have been made that after what happened to Nexus devices, Google may actually retire the Nexus 6P without bothering to launch a refreshed handset.

Meanwhile, lawsuits are piling up before the Pixel 2 comes out, tech enthusiasts are now waiting for any positive update that could convince them that Google Pixel to will be much different than the rest Nexus devices. Stay tuned for more updates.
