The release of Apple iPhone 8 for the company’s 10th anniversary could be delayed, sources claim. The smartphone is said to be still in testing phase and may need additional two months due to supply problems. Sources revealed some of the impressive features the phone will come with.

According to Bloomberg, Apple initially planned the release of iPhone 8 this fall, in celebration of its 10th anniversary. However, the new model may need more time of testing before its ready for release. Moreover, sources claim the handset is having supply problems so further delays are expected to happen.

The new iPhone 8 is said to have a complete overhaul, including an all-screen front feature with curved glass in a stainless steel frame, according to PC Advisor. This tip is actually confirmed by Mac Otakara Japanese blog. The phone is also rumored to have an edge-to-edge OLED screen display that is supplied by no other than Samsung. This is backed up by Bloomberg’s recent report of the 100 million panels ordered by Apple from Samsung.

iPhone 8 is also reported to be larger than iPhone 7 Plus’ 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm dimensions but the difference will be minimal. And since the home button is no longer included, Apple will use the same software like Galaxy S8 of Samsung. As for the embedding of Touch ID in the display, Apple has decided to ditch the plan according to an equity research analyst at Pacific Crest Securities.

Another impressive feature iPhone 8 could come with are advanced cameras. This includes a different positioning for the back camera and dual lens for the front camera. This is a big upgrade from its predecessor as Apple want to explore the world of augmented reality for their new model. iPhone 8 is set to run in iOS 11 which will include a new user-interface.
