Samsung Note 8 News & Update: Smartphone Channels Galaxy S8 Features By Staff Reporter | Apr 18, 2017 04:00 AM EDT Samsung Note 8 is expected to released in 2017 and first sightings of the model show similar features from Galaxy S8. The smartphone is made to replace Note 7, which was recalled worldwide due to technical issues, and Note 6 that was released almost 2 years ago. Now the only question is how interested are users with the upcoming Note 8. According to Forbes, the new Note 8 will come with features similar to Galaxy S8 such as curved edges, lack of bezels, no home button, Bixby software and possibly a voice-powered virtual assistant. Although none of it has been officially confirmed, leaked photo reveals the said features. However, in order for Note 8 to stand out from the rest, they need to try harder to convince their market to try the new model. Normally, Samsung doesn’t have to try so hard to launch a new model, especially for their Note series. But after the fiery ending of Note 7, Android users have been skeptical to go back to Note Android phones. For that reason, experts say Samsung needs to find a good reason why users will try the new phablet. Samsung Galaxy S8 is now the company’s flagship smartphone. It features bigger screen, 12MP back camera, 8MP front camera, and iris scanning capabilities. It runs with a 10nm processor that makes it perform faster, better and longer. In addition, it is water and dust resistant, Octa-core (2.3GHz Quad + 1.7GHz Quad), 4GB RAM, and 64GB memory. Samsung is known to release new Galaxy and Note models alternately every six months for many years now. However, this year is expected to be difficult for Note 8 due to its history but Samsung is adept in managing multiple models at a time. For that reason, it wouldn’t be surprising if Samsung Note 8 will be a big success to its target market.
