‘Destiny’ Patch Will Fix Several Bugs; Hot Fix 2.6.0.2, No Class and Weapon Changes By Ralphy Bonn Sim | Apr 14, 2017 10:37 AM EDT "Destiny" was set to receive a patch within this month which will fix an ongoing Trials of Osiris bug as well as the additional quality of life improvements. It was announced that Hot Fix 2.6.0.2 will hit this April; the developer of the game only highlighted a couple bugs that would get squashed in the upcoming patch. According to Bungie, one of those bugs that "Destiny" fans have been complaining about since the launch of "Destiny: Age of Triumph" causes "Destiny: Trials of Osiris" matched to go on indefinitely. the only way to rectify the standoff is for one team to back out or for a team to get kicked out for inactivity. By this, players who back out either voluntarily or are forced out of the game receive a loss on their Trials Passage and wreck their hopes for a Flawless run to the Lighthouse. As the addition to the fix to endless Trials matches, the patch will also fix an issue those players using the Destiny Companion app or other item managers have likely experienced since "Destiny: Age of Triumph" launched. The endless Multiple Records, Record Book notification that triggers every time a player uses an application accessing Destiny's API. The only bugs that PlayStation Universe mentioned that will be patched in Hot Fix 2.6.0.2. However, there are likely to be others included as well; Hot Fixes aren't named but if this one was it might be Quality of Life Improvements of Triumph. Fans can expect that there won't be any class or weapon changes but that this will be a patch to some known minor issues going on in "Destiny." Another issue for the new "Destiny: Treasure of Ages," not being available if a player carries boxes from the previous week through a weekly reset. Unfortunately, the studio company has not yet specified whether that particular issue is on the list for the upcoming patch. Hot Fix 2.6.0.2 seems to drop on April 18 or 25. As Destiny winds down with "Destiny: Age of Triumph," the next landmark on the horizon is the first reveal of "Destiny 2" gameplay this coming May 18. Meanwhile, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
