iPad Mini 5 Latest Update: Apple Loyalists Still Hoping For Mythical iPad Mini Pro Release By Joseph Patrick | Apr 11, 2017 08:17 PM EDT The 9.7-inch iPad is already out and there are two more expected to follow. Could there be a fourth one in the mix in the form of the iPad Mini 5 or iPad Mini Pro as most have been speculating? The Cupertino company has not mentioned anything and most are banking on a possible successor to still come and append the iPad Mini 4. So far, all talk about the iPad Mini 5 has been purely anticipation. Seeing the power packed into the new iPad 2017 lineup, the iPad Mini Pro could potentially carry on the specs to the next level. That would include seeing the mini tablet carrying an A10x chip, 3 GB of RAM and even an M8 co-processor. All that in a mini tablet? One can just imagine how Apple engineers would able to squeeze all that power in a smaller molded mobile device. Looking beyond the power from within the iPad Mini 5, the specs (If factual) could be more than enough to back up other advanced features most see to date. That includes a 12 MP main camera and four speakers to maximize the alleged iPad Mini Pro, MacWorld reported. For quite some time, there is talk that Apple would be streamlining its tablets to the iPad Pro family. There is no definite word on that yet though the specs of the three tablets for 2017 could more or less hold an answer to that. In fact, what are the chances that the 9.7-inch iPad is the eventual replacement to the iPad Mini 5? As mentioned in a previous post, the smallest of the 2017 family of iPads and christened the iPad SE could inadvertently be it. Specs don’t match, but being rumors, it could be the next best thing to look forward to. Among the specs the 9.7-inch iPad has to offer include an A9 processor, an 8 MP main camera, a 1 MP front-facing shooter and storage starting at 32 GB, CNet reported. It may not be as powerful as most had dreamed for the iPad Mini 5 but could be the benchmark. If not, the 10.5-inch variant could be the next candidate. Either way, it is best to stick to the facts. Only two more iPads are coming so the iPad Mini 5 could be actually the reincarnation on one of them.
