Moto Z Power Pack Battery Mod Won't Come Until This Spring By Staff Reporter | Apr 11, 2017 01:31 PM EDT At the Mobile World Congress back in February, Motorola revealed a series of upcoming and concept Moto Mods. One of them is the Moto Z Power Pack Battery mod. The Moto Z Power Pack Battery mod is an extra battery that is similar to Incipio's Offgrid Mod that could provide up to 50 percent more power to the device. This is dubbed in the Mobile World Congress as a smart external power source that would be very efficient to users. Unfortunately, the release date of the Moto Z Power Pack Battery was not met after it missed out its schedule for one month. In an article published in Phandroid, the accessory will be released this Spring. The publication has said in their article that a representative from Motorola has revealed to them the plan for the Moto Z Power Pack Battery. The original release date was back in March. Besides the Moto Z Power Pack Battery, Motorola has also revealed more mods at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain last February. Some of them are a wireless charging back and a gamepad housing that gave Moto Z controller inputs on either side, like the Nintendo Switch. Also, Motorola has been working on a cable that would charge mods when they were not connected to any device. It is said that it would be complementing with the Moto Z Power Pack Battery, according to an article published by Android Authority. Currently, there is still no confirmed data for the other mods of Motorola until it would hit the shelves. Before the Moto Z Power Pack Battery, the company launched mods like Incipio's Vehicle Dock and Mophie's Juice Pack last December.
