According to Australia's number one news site News.com.au, the two prominent companies teamed up to officially launch what they called the very first "Snaplications". This is the McDonald's-themed filter for Snapchat wherein job hunters from the Land Down Under will be required to submit a vital 10-second video wearing the global fast-food titan's uniform.

Once the human resources came across the criteria of what they are looking for as their staff, then the applicant will be further contacted for additional application procedures.    As per the report, the fast-food chain hires 106,000 Australian. From there, they have 65 percent of employees of 18 years old below. On the other hand, the photo-messaging app has 82 per cent of youngsters among their four million daily users. Thus, the integration and branding campaign seems to have younger employees as their target market.

In an article published by Fortune, McDonald's Australia Chief Operating Officer Shaun Ruming said that Snaplications is all about a Snapchat 'lens' that enables app users to apply for a working career by posting a 10-second snap of selling themselves to the employers. This application lens also allows job aspirants to virtually put hats and nametags for them to have a glimpse of how it feels like to be one of the company's Australian employees. If this time-bound video has given the HR department some interest, then the applicant will be notified to proceed to the traditional application procedure and forms.

In addition to this, their prospective McDonald's employees need to possess character traits like having positivity and bubbly personality.
