Google Nexus 7 To Sport Bigger Display With Snapdragon 835 & 4GB RAM

Nexus 7, Google's highly-anticipated upcoming device is said to be released this year. Several reports are now suggesting that the next iteration will boast an impressive set of features and specifications for consumers.

Greek Reply reported that it is speculated that the upcoming device will have a set of highly impressive specifications. This includes the latest Android Nougat version along with several enticing hardware. In addition to that, the Snapdragon 835 becomes the key feature for the Nexus 7 2017 device to carry. Qualcomm's latest mobile chip fits the role perfectly to power Google's latest flagship device with at least 64 GB built-in storage in tow and 4GB RAM.

Gigjets has also shared that Nexus 7 2017 is said to sport a massive design that will give consumers a bigger than 7-inch display frame. As a point of comparison, Apple currently has a 9.7-inch iPad and will be releasing a 10.5-inch display soon. Both iPad Air 2 and the iPad 2017 is speculated to have the same dimension. In line with that, it is speculated that Google will launch a device within that same range of size while sporting a bigger screen-to-body-ratio and extra thin bezels features.

Further reports said that the Nexus 7 2017 will not have Chromebook OS or Android as its operating system, but rather a combination of the two known as Andromeda OS. It is rumored to be the latest project Google has started that can usher in a universal operating system across devices in the same vein as Windows 10.

No news yet as to the exact release date of the Nexus 7 2017 but it is likely that we will see its launching this year. Nexus 7 is expected to be manufactured by HTC. Previously, Google Pixel was also made by HTC and reports claimed that Google and the HTC recently signed a deal to produce the next generation Pixel phones. With that being said, there is a big possibility that the same company will also handle production of the highly anticipated Nexus 7.
