Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Leaked on GFXBench, Reveals Specifications; 6.4-Inch Full HD Display, Android Nougat By Harsh Soni h_soniji@rediffmail.com | Apr 08, 2017 08:30 AM EDT Xiaomi is reportedly working on the successor of its Xiaomi Mi Max smartphone, which is dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Just now, a new device from Xiaomi has surfaced on benchmarking site GFXbench. The spotted device comes with the code name of "Xiaomi Oxygen" and by looking at the specs; it is believed to be the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max 2. As per listing, Xiaomi Oxygen aka Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be having a 6.4-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The smartphone will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm (Cortex A53 - ARMv8) processor, along with Qualcomm Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone will feature a 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device is said to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system which will be wrapped under MIUI, as reported by GSM Arena. On the camera side, the spotted device will be having a 12-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing shooter for selfies. The back camera is capable of shooting videos at 4K with 3840 x 2160 resolutions. In addition, the device offers WiFi, GPS, Digital compass, Light sensor, Bluetooth, NFC, Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyroscope, Pedometer, and Proximity sensor, according to Android Pure. Currently Xiaomi Mi Max higher variant comes in a 6.44 inch Full HD IPS display, powered by Snapdragon 652 processor along with 4 GB RAM, plus 128 GB of onboard storage. The smartphone comes with 16 MP main rear camera, with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and another 5 MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture. It is Comes with a huge 4850 mAh battery. As with any other rumor, take this with a pinch of salt. Xiaomi is yet to announce any official launch date and confirm these details regarding Xiaomi Mi Max 2.
