Nokia 3310 Latest News: Retro Mobile Phone Debuting International Soon, Find Out If Your Region Is Included Here! By Joseph Patrick | Apr 08, 2017 03:50 AM EDT It may only be a matter of time before the Nokia 3310 hits shelves. The problem is that HMD Global will only offer the revived mobile phone in select countries, mostly believed to be developing regions. Most are curious which regions would be covered with a launch date reportedly happening by the second quarter of 2017. At least one country has been confirmed of getting the Nokia 3310 later this April - Malaysia. Tipster Victor Ng of Vtech claims that the device will launch by month’s end. Additionally, Ng also bared that other devices such as the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will also be debuting next month but on different dates. To recall, HMD Global plans to offer the Nokia 3310 in 120 markets by the second quarter of the year. But from the looks of it, the phone offering will also include the other handsets which some folks may want to consider too. Aside from Malaysia, the only other region reportedly getting the Nokia 3310 is the United Kingdom, something brought up by the listings published by Clove. The device will hit shelves in the UK by June, Neowin reported. If one ties up both reports the alleged Malaysia release date, seeing the Nokia 3310 make its way to UK shores seems logical. Linking the two countries may be a pinch on other possible locations where the Nokia 3310 may be made available though other developing countries over in Asia could be a target. To jog the memories of folks who may have forgotten, the Nokia 3310 is a budget-friendly phone that sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display. The phone carries basic specs such as a 2 MP camera and support for microSD cards. The old Nokia 3310 was known to last for days but the new one can reportedly last for as much as a month on standby or 22 hours of talk time.
