The smartphone is priced at INR 8,490 and will be available via Paytm Mall from April 6. The device will come in three color options, black, white and gold. This is the first time when Samsung is launching an online exclusive device in the form of Galaxy J3 Pro, on Paytm Mall, Mr. Sandeep Singh Arora, Vice President, Online Business and Samsung India said at the launch of the smartphone. The Galaxy J3 Pro packs powerful performance, exceptional display and also has a number of consumer-focused features which are developed at the company's India-based R&D centers, as noted by Samsung Newsroom. Just like the other J-series Samsung phones, the Galaxy J3 Pro features a frame with a metal-like finish. It also boasts the signature home button which is seen on almost all Galaxy smartphones. The device features the S bike mode, with special handsfree functions for bikers, as per NDTV. On the specifications side, the dual-SIM based Galaxy J3 Pro runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz Spreadtrum quad-core processor, which is different from the China variant, paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB, according to BGR. Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front snapper. The back camera can record full-HD videos at 30fps. The Galaxy J3 Pro measures 142.2x71.3x7.9mm and weighs 138 grams. The Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro supports 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, NFC, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and Micro-USB connectivity options. Unfortunately, there is no listed support for 4G VoLTE. The smartphone is backed by a 2600mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro also comes pre-loaded with a bunch of other regular J-series 'Make for India' features such as UDS (Ultra Data Saving) mode that helps consumers save about 50% mobile data cost.
