‘Age of Empires: Castle Sieg’ News Update: Microsoft Finally Released the Android Platform of the Game; Now Available in Play Store

 "Age of Empires: Castle Siege" was originally released on Windows Phone in 2014 which then made its way to iOS in 2015. The game was developed by Smoking Gun Interactive in partnership with Microsoft has now finally been released for the Android platform.

According to Gadgets, "Age of Empires: Castle Siege" is free-to-play but do offer in-app purchases that should help the player's progress through the game easier and faster. Android users seem to like the game so far giving positive critics and reviews on the Play Store. The purpose of "Age of Empires: Castle Siege" is building and defending an empire while surviving it through the Medieval Era. Players can choose one of the several civilizations such as Kievan Rus, Britons, and Teutons. Players need to upgrade their keep and fortify their walls in order to protect the empire from marauders and train their army to conquer other cities.

Players have the option of recruiting quite a few heroes in their army which includes Joan the Arc, Saladin, and Richard the Lionheart. In "Age of Empires: Castle Siege," players need to outsmart their attackers in order to acquire achievement and be on the leaderboard's top players. The game isn't a traditional real-time strategy; it is an improvised "Clash of Clans" with the Area of Effect name tag.

The majority gameplay of "Age of Empires: Castle Siege" is to build, upgrade, attack, build, upgrade, and attack. According to Android Police, all players command takes an inordinate amount of time; players will hit wait timer after timer.
