Loyal fans of the Cupertino-based firm Apple Inc is said to be releasing a new line of MacBook Pro and iMac soon. As what most outlets from the grapevine are telling, its users are in for some huge surprises.

Perhaps the most anticipated this year, Apple's newest MacBook Pro is said to support up to 32GB RAM. Meanwhile, the more premium MacBook Pro is expected to flaunt impressive hardware and a revamped design. A significant upgrade on the forthcoming devices is also expected as the latest line up will have Intel's Cannon Lake chip processors. The Cannon Lake-powered MacBook Pros are reported to start its production by Q4 of 2017. As such, the MacBook Pro 2017 and iMac 2017 will most likely be launched in 2018.

MacBook Pro enthusiasts have all been waiting for the 2017 update. However, the delay in production for the Cannon Lake processor that is appropriate for the MacBook Pro and iMac lines may be a bit of a letdown. According to I4U News, the delay was due to the development and mass production of the said processors. Venkata Renduchintala, Intel's president said that "In terms of first shipments, whether it's before the end of the year, or just after the beginning of next year, it's too close to call."

The Cannon Lake processors are said to be the first Intel processor chips built on a 10mn process which allows reduced power consumption. However, what Apple is really after is the ability of the Cannon Lake processors to support larger amounts of RAM which allows the MacBook Pro to offer a 32GB RAM. In line with that, users of the MacBook Pro lines can be assured that the Cupertino-based tech titan will continue its dedicated efforts in developing the MacBook Pro.

The MacBook Pro 2017 will be more power efficient and will boast a slicker and slimmer design. Despite the delay for its upcoming launch, fans of the MacBook Pro 2017 will surely be looking forward to this new line of devices.
