There have been lots of rumors, speculations and renders with regard to what new features and upgrade the developer will incorporate in the upcoming device. However, some newly leaked renders already claim to show exactly what the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will look like when it is released. Many reports suggest that if the renders are to be considered, the upcoming device will sport a spectacular design that is totally bezel-less. As fans already know, the Mi Mix smartphone released by the developer last year sports a large display with almost no bezels, it is reported that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will feature more spectacular features and upgrades with no bezels at all. According to Digital Trends, even though it has not been long since the developer released the Mi Mix, there is still a great possibility that Xiaomi is already working on its successor, with some rumors stating that the upcoming device will probably have a 2017 release date. The report also states that leaked images on the Weibo network that were shared by Xiaomi Today reveal that the developers are planning to cover more surface area with the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The leaked photo in the report showed a smartphone with no bezel on both the top and sides, with only a thin bottom bezel. It is reported that the Mi Mix 2, just like its predecessors will have ceramic construction but the display will be up to 93 percent of the front of the smartphone, which is a little more than the current model. The screen of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is also expected to use AMOLED technology and have dual cameras above a rear fingerprint sensor that is the same ultrasonic module found in Mi 5s. Other reports have also outlined similar specs and features for the upcoming Mi Mix 2 but GizmoChina reported that the panel would be curved. It is said that the low quality of the GIFs makes it impossible to tell if there's any curve along the sides of the model's screen. According to Android Headline, Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun recently confirmed that the developer is working actively towards creating the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 with 93% screen-to-body ratio. Although Lei Jun did not expressly make mention of the Mi Mix 2, he revealed in a Weibo update that he is working again with Philippe Starck, the French designer that helped design the Mi Mix. He added that they are both the two are looking to see how they can make these exciting innovations a reality. He is interpreted to be referring to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, even though his remark can mean so many different things. Read More: APK Version Of Android O Pixel Launcher Now Available For Download
