Though details about the handheld still need confirmation, rumors are currently suggesting the handset will not be against other phones because it only has a budget-friendly class. Currently, there are no official statements coming from the company about the release date of the Moto X 2017. There has been numerous rumors and speculations circulating on the internet but Motorola never confirmed any. In an article published in TechRadar, the Moto X 2017 could be ready now. They speculated that it will hit the stores this spring or summer. In terms of release date, Motorola has not revealed any information at all regarding the Moto X 2017's price. Phone Arena reported that the Moto X 2017 might be slightly more pricey than the Moto G5 Plus. Rumors are suggesting that it could be priced for $229. Leaked photos show some of the Moto X 2017's features like the dual camera setup. The dual camera setup is sported with a circular ring that looks the same with the to Moto Z. Based on rumors, Moto X 2017 will also equip a 5.5-inch HD display with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. The company's handset will also feature the Snapdragon 625 processor. Some consider this as a disappointment since they will not have the latest Snapdragon processor. It is noticed that most of the upcoming phones will have the Snapdragon 835. With this, some tech pundits are predicting that the Moto X 2017 would not be a big hit. The company's preference of Snapdragon 625 processor over Snapdragon 835 is predicted to turn off customers.
