Android 7.0 Nougat Update On Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, A7 This May By Staff Reporter | Apr 04, 2017 02:49 AM EDT Good news for the users of Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 because these handsets will be receiving the Android 7.0 update. The rollout of the upgrade is expected to take place in May this year. Currently, the Android 7.0 Nougat update is being tested on Samsung Galaxy A3, A, and A7. Owners of the mentioned Samsung phone models will be much happy for this news as the update will soon be released this May, as reported in an article published in Android Soul. The update was already delayed at first as the Android 7.0 Nougat update was originally scheduled to be released this April. Supposedly, the Samsung Galaxy A3 should have received the update this April 24 but it was rescheduled to the first week of May. It is expected for the Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update this April as the smartphone was listed on on Geekbench running Android 7.1.1 Nougat last March. Unfortunately, the three Samsung Galaxy phoneswere not updated in the same time. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 is scheduled to be updated on May 22-28. The Samsung Galaxy A7 2016 was also scheduled on the same dates. Even though the dates of the update are fixed, it will not be the same for every users because the Android 7.0 Nougat update will still depend on the carrier. There could be times that the carriers will require pre-approval before releasing an update. What could be the meaning of this? There could be an more waiting time between the release of the Android 7.0 Nougat update from the Samsung and the carrier's approval. It could also be possible for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 to receive an unexpected error frm the Android 7.0 Nougat update itself. If this would not happen, it is more likely the update will roll out now in the new schedule.
