Android 7.1.2 Update Begins Rolling Out, Pixel C To Receive It, Check Out! Several Nexus Players have also received the update. Based on the latest beta Android 7.1.2 offers Pixel fingerprint gesture to Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. Interestingly, the gesture allows user to check notifications by sliding the fingerprint scanner. According to Android Headlines, the Android 7.1.2 update has been sent out as OTA or over the air update that would be pushed in several stages. It might take a few days till a user receives a notification asking to accept the update package. However, users who are really impatient can also go To Settings option on their Pixel C device, check Status option and Systems Update. Like always, the users should always ensure their device has enough free storage space and at least 50% battery life to receive the Android 7.1.2 update. As per latest reports, the updates are supposed to roll out from April 3, 2017 on the Pixel phones. The Android Nougat update would contain bug fixes as well as optimizations PhoneArena reported. According to Canadian carrier Rogers, the April 3 update would enable VoLTE as well as bring new updates. Following the Android 7.1.2 update, Pixel C would receive Pixel Launcher and stylish on screen system buttons that mainly debuted in 2016 Google Pixel XL and Google Pixel.
