Microsoft Surface Studio: All-in-One PCs Coming To Three New Regions This April By Joseph Patrick | Mar 31, 2017 10:08 AM EDT Microsoft knows it has to reach a wider niche and the Microsoft Surface Studio PC aims to do such. Alongside the Surface Dial, the hybrid AIO will be available in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand by April 20, 2017. Pre-orders are now underway, allowing customers to reserve their unit/s in advance. The expansion should be good news for folks longing to get hold of the Microsoft Surface Studio PC and/or the Surface Dial. Other regions are hoping to be as lucky but may have to console themselves with some other Microsoft product. Instead of the Microsoft Surface Studio PC or the Surface Dial, select regions may have just gotten something better with the word of the Microsoft Surface Book heading their way. Among the regions which are now taking pre-orders for it include Austria, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK, Engadget reported. Like the Microsoft Surface Studio PC and the Surface Dial, the Microsoft Surface Book will be available starting April 20. Speaking of the Microsoft Surface Book expansion, most are now wondering when the successor will come out. There is a hardware event set for the spring but the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is reportedly not among those showing up according to ZDNet. The understanding is that the sequel is not yet ready for release. The same indication holds true for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. This means folks will have to make do with the current crop of Microsoft Surface products. The Redmond company seems to be doing fine with present roster though most want an encore. With Apple struggling to impress with its own line of solutions, one can just imagine the lead Microsoft can ultimately pad. Then again, the expansion efforts could be all part of that, a sneaky but genius way to cover a wider consumer electronics market.
