Razer is popularly known for making high-end gaming laptops and the Razer Blade Pro is reported to be the developer's top-end gaming system. In addition to being the first gaming system with THX certification, the Razer Blade Pro is also packed with lots of new features so as to meet the expectations of the modern day gamer. The Razer Blade Pro, which is a 0.88-inches thick laptop that weighs eight pounds, is a substantial gaming notebook. In terms of specs, the Razer Blade Pro is powered by the seventh-generation Core i7 quad-core processor and also has up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM that runs at 2667MHz. According to Digital Trends, the new Razer Blade Pro is also packed with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU for 4K and VR gaming. The report states that this has given the developer credit for producing the thinnest laptop equipped with the high-end chip. "The Blade Pro was recently hailed as 'the ultimate Windows laptop,' and we've leveled up on our previous achievements with certification by THX. However, this is the first time a laptop has obtained the THX Mobile Certification, and it is believed that Razer's acquisition of THX is aimed at ensuring high-quality audio and video performance. It is reported by Yahoo that THX CEO, Ty Ahmad-Taylor noted that the Razer Blade Pro is a high-end system, which provides an excellent THX viewing mode and audio experience. He added that the laptop can perfectly handle extreme gaming and content creation with exceptional mobile audio and visual performance. Meanwhile, the video area, which is provided by a 17.3-inch 4K IGZO monitor with Nvidia G-Sync technology, ensures a smooth framerates and video playback. It also provides gamers with up to 100 percent AdobeRGB color gamut support for creative, enthusiast. The Razer Blade Pro is said to have special features that enable it to meet THX's requirements for frequency response, voltage output, signal-to-noise ratio, distortion, and crosstalk for a clearer sound through headphones. The Razer Blade Pro also sports a built-in SD card reader, up to 2TB of PCIe M.2 SSD with RAID 0 support, USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3, and three USB 3.0 ports for legacy support. The keyboard of the Razer Blade Pro utilizes "Ultra-Low-Profile" mechanical switches as well as true actuation and reset points that deliver 65 grams of force to imitate full-size mechanical keyboards.
