iMac 2017 Will Sport Either Intel’s Kaby Lake CPU or AMD’s Ryzen; Major Differences Between the Two

Apple has recently announced that the iMac will be launched in this year's September. However, the giant tech company still has to choose between Intel's CPU and AMD; the Ryzen 7 and Kaby Lake processors are queuing for the upcoming iMac 2017.

Apple has to choose between the two, but choosing is not that easy where AMD has its new multi-core CPU. According to CNET, iMac 2016 had an Iris Pro 6200 GPU from Intel and a 3.1 Ghz Quad Core i5 Broadwell Processor, while the Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is now facing against Intel's flagship i7 processors. Head to Head, the cheaper Ryzen will not back down with their raw computing power. As for Intel's Kaby Lake processor, it's been durable and trusted by many PC brands around the world.

As noted by PC Advisor, both CPU's has its unique advantages but Intel is currently having a very small lead right now. Aside from very young in the industry, AMD's Ryzen CPU's need to pass the test of time to prove that it's reliable to all consumers. Well, Apple has the right to announce the decision between the two; consumers would have to wait for Apple's official decision.

The iMac 2017 was speculated to have a 5K retina display along with USB Type-C and Thunderbolt. The device will also be the next iMac to wear an OLED Touch Bar and a Touch ID; as expected Apple's upcoming desktop computer will have a Virtual Reality support.

There's still no exact official date for the revelation of Apple's iMac 2017. Several speculations have been suggested that Apple's PC might be available for this year's third quarter; others might even say that it will be released next year.

Not until AMD can prove and be tested it's worth of a new chipset, socket, and motherboard, Intel will remain on the top; for powerful everyday computing, the Core i5 continues to satisfy consumers. Intel's Core i7 chips still optimize video editing, rendering 3D animations, and has a better graphics card.
