LG G6 Black Edition Will Be Only Available In South Korea with Explosive Giveaways By Ralphy Bonn Sim | Mar 29, 2017 12:01 PM EDT LG is now launching a new variant of its newest flagship phone in South Korea, the LG G6 Black Edition. This model is apparently launched exclusively via South Korean carrier KT; similar to the regular LG G6 but it introduces a new color scheme which may not be available in any other countries. The regular LG G6 is currently available in three different color options including Mystic White, Astro Black, and Ice Platinum. The smartphone already offered a black color variant, however, unlike the Astro Black, the LG G6 Black Edition features a black front panel combined with a back panel painted either in Mystic White or Ice Platinum. According to Phone Arena, the LG G6 is the only variant boasting a dual color scheme. The LG G6 Black Edition still features the same hardware internals similar from the standard model that includes a 5.7-inch FullVision IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 in 18:9 aspect ratios. It was built with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC along with its Adreno 530 graphics chip and 4 GB of RAM. The LG G6 Black Edition will be only available with 64GB, unlike the regular model that carries 32 GB and 64 GB onboard memory. Other specifications that bundles with LG G5 Black Edition are the dual camera setup comprising two 13 MP rear facing sensor, a fingerprint recognition embedded on the back panel, and a front-facing 5 MP unit. The device will run in an Android 7.0 Nougat and carries a non-removable 3,000mAh Li-Po battery. According to The Investor, LG G6 Black Edition will be available in South Korea wearing the same price as the standard model along with a 24-month KT carrier agreement. LG Electronics also confirmed that they will give 1,000 LG Watch Sports smartwatches to all the lucky LG G6 buyers in South Korea; regardless of which LG G6 variant they will purchase.
