He further said that the work of the critically acclaimed RPG didn't end when it was released and promise that in the future, the game company will enrich certain parts of the game. The reason why "Final Fantasy XV Alternative Chapter 13, Verse 2" is added to the game is due to many critics coming from fans saying that the normal chapter 13 part storyline was very linear and repetitive. That matter is believed to go against the open-world genre of the game that promotes freedom exploration and flexibility. The update 1.06 and 1.07 will bring in several additional contents to the Square Enix's latest blockbuster hit series, including "Final Fantasy XV Alternative Chapter 13, Verse 2." If in the normal Chapter 13, players will control Noctis, the Chapter 13, Verse 2, gamers will be controlling Gladio and Ignis instead. "Final Fantasy XV Alternative Chapter 13, Verse 2" will have new plot details explaining certain points of the plot that has cause confusion in the story. The Chapter 13, Verse 2 can be accessed through the main menu once fans have finished the game. "Final Fantasy XV Alternative Chapter 13, Verse 2" will serve a way for players to test out Gladio in combat before deciding to purchase the game's first DLC, "Episode Gladiolus." Besides the Alternate plot, the update will also add political undertones to the RPG, which can be seen on one of the new cut scenes when Ignis said, "It may be like moths to a flame....Or it may be one of the Empire's 'alternative facts'." For those who don't know, 'alternative facts' is a phrase that was made famous by Kellyanne Conway, Counselor to President Trump. The phrase literally means that a lie can be interpreted from a different point of view. Not only that phrase, the 'fake news' and you're the puppet' phrases within "Final Fantasy XV Alternative Chapter 13, Verse 2" is also another sarcastic terms associated with the Trump Administration, as reported by Techtimes. The updates also suspended the online timed quests temporarily and added two audio tracks into the in-game music player from "Episode Gladiolus," announced the photo contest winners, and some bugs fixed. According to Kotaku, "Final Fantasy XV Alternative Chapter 13, Verse 2" will also contain the increased power of Noctis' magic spells, including a faster version of Death that can make gamers easier to go through the normal Chapter 13.
