The company for the first time is going to hold a pre-order system on its official portal Mi.com until now Xiaomi phones were available only in flash sales. Xiaomi's official website reads that "Over the past few years, we have been listening closely to your feedback, pushing ourselves to bring innovation to as many people as possible. Particularly, we want to make sure that you, our most loyal fans, can easily buy your favorite Mi products. Today we are proud to present a brand-new pre-order system on Mi.com." Xiaomi also claims that the smartphone will be delivered within five days once the online payment is done for the Redmi Note 4. There's no cash on delivery service and only one Redmi Note 4 at one time can be ordered. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 pre-orders will open on Friday at 12 pm from March 31 on the company's own website. If you wish to cancel the purchase then you can also do that before the smartphone is shipped, according to India Today. This pre-order thing comes days after the company has announced that the hot-selling Redmi Note 4 is obtainable offline as well. The offline and pre-order systems will probably see a huge demand for the Redmi Note 4 and the responsibility will now fall on the company to keep up with the demand. The smartphone has already crossed 1 million in sales in India, as per NDTV. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in India during January this year. The device comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) and 2.5D curved glass display. Note 4 comes in three size variants- 2GB RAM with 32 GB ROM, 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 4 GB RAM with 64 ROM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features by a 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone supports dual-SIM and runs the latest MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Xiaomi may soon also list the recently launched Redmi 4A for pre-orders, its news budget phone of the year for pre-orders. Redmi 4A also saw a big hit with its 250,000 units sold in just 4 minutes through Amazon and Mi.com.
