This update would bring new features and improvements to both Gear S3 Frontier and Classic. According to Phone Arena, this latest firmware update for the Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic brings enhancement to native applications including Watch Faces, Alti-Barometer, Samsung Health, S Voice, and News Briefing. Other features receiving an upgrade include the Settings, Find My Device, Accessibility, iOS Support, Samsung Gear, Stop Watch, Samsung Internet for Gear, and new partner apps. This latest firmware update for both the Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic would allow users to add a new date and music complications to selected Watch Faces. Meanwhile, the Alti-Barometer feature has been updated by adding an altitude auto refresh feature. Also, the maximum time for the Stop Watch feature has been increased to 3 hours. Users of the Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic can now set a date and time when creating a Reminder using the S Voice, while the user interface for the News Briefing feature is enhanced. An auto switch feature has also been added to allow Gear S3, S2, and Fit2, to automatically connect the Gear device to the paired smartphone. The Samsung Internet for Gear feature in both the Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic has also been updated to allow users to browse the Internet using the Gear. Also, new partner applications from companies such as Spotify and BMW are made available for download in Galaxy Apps Store. This latest firmware update would bring new features and improvements to both the Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic. That said, users of these wearable devices shouldn't be surprised if this latest update has something to do with the impending arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, and the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 Series.
