‘Pokemon GO’ 2017 Update: Gen II Starters Hatching from 2KM Eggs Revealed in ‘Pokemon GO Plus’ Trailer

"Pokemon GO" trainers are wondering whether the latest "Pokemon GO Plus" advertisement launched by the Pokemon Company is an unintentional leak full of Easter eggs or just false advertisement. What makes the ad exciting? It shows Gen II starters hatching from green 2KM eggs!

According to The Pokemon Go Hub, the advertisement shows a number of known Pokemon hatching at 10KM including Lapras, Larvitar, and Aerodactyl. While Eevee is already known, the creature hatches at 5KM. However, new Pokemon are seen hatching at 2KM including Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile and "Pokemon GO" can only speculate whether these new monsters will soon come into the game.

If the creatures hatching in the advertisement are randomly placed there, then the trailer is just really a false advertisement designed to make noise and give false hopes to "Pokemon GO" trainers. However, if the trailer is on the level, then "Pokemon GO Plus" may have inadvertently leaked which monsters are going to be released soon.

And that in itself is interesting since Gen II starters are proving difficult to catch due to the biomes they spawn in. Niantic Labs, the developer of the reality-augmented mobile game "Pokemon GO," has not confirmed, denied, or clarified this issue as of this writing.

According to America Flash News, "Pokemon GO" trainers should take this news with a grain of salt since there are still no signs of Gen II starter hatching from an egg. Also, add this to the fact that whenever Niantic Labs launches a new update or just releases something new, the Professor is there to announce them.

As for the "Pokemon GO Plus" advertisement, it was released last March 23 on the Official Pokemon YouTube Channel. The video demonstrates the advance Pokemon experience to be gained by the "Pokemon GO" trainer while using "Pokemon GO Plus."
