‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Updates: Upcoming New Features Revealed After V. 0.59.1 APK Datamine By Joseph Patrick | Mar 25, 2017 08:30 AM EDT To date, there have been a lot of changes on “Pokemon Go” though there are still missing promises. The first things that come to mind are Pokemon Trading and the PvP features that John Hanke had previously touched on. While those may be on the agenda, it seems that there are more plans ahead for “Pokemon Go”. Thanks to the efforts of some data miners, a lot has been revealed from APK v0.59.1. Many hints at improvements to the current game environment, stuff that augmented reality players may want to take note of. The Reddit folks who were able to look into the APK of v0.59.1 revealed changes which would involve the sky, passcodes, changes to PokeStops, nickname blackouts, throw mechanics and PokeDex buttons. Take as a whole, these usually one tap and common features will be adding more options in the future. Sky changes may not be much seeing how this could be a follow-up to the day and night modes on the game as we speak. The redeemable passcodes for “Pokemon Go” should be interesting, something that could function as coupons for players in redeeming items. The changes in the Pokestops could involve some changes in their state. This could occur at random for “Pokemon Go” players and discourage most from certain exploits in one location. Nickname blackouts are seen as a way to set order when it comes to the use of nicknames. It could put an end to profanity-laced handles which Niantic has not really touched on for now. New “Pokemon Go” throws could be up ahead, hopefully, something that will reward players who add spunk when hunting down the critters. The Pokedex buttons are expected to integrate more options, possibly even the addition of the new Shiny button following their invasion on the hit augmented reality game. It remains to be seen when some of these features will be enabled, meaning all “Pokemon Go” players can do right now is keep on playing!
