Ahead of the premiere of “One-Punch Man” Season 2, fans who want to jog their memory on Saitama while waiting for it to air could watch Season 1 on Netflix. The first season, which aired October to December 2015, could be viewed in Japanese, the original language, or in dubbed English. According to speculations, Season 2 would premiere on the anime’s anniversary.

Worth Watching

Celebeat points out that July is the second anniversary of the anime, so the likely date that “One-Punch Man” Season 2 would premiere is in July. The first season debuted on Adult Swim and attracted a lot of new anime fans because of its hero whom they could relate to, the anime’s stillness, creepy protagonists and funny antics. Geek.com declares the anime “absolutely worth watching.”

The studio that created the anime, which gives “One-Punch Man” Season 2 higher priority over “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3, assures the second season would air sometime in 2017. Speculations about the anime predict the strongest man on Earth would lose his power and suffer his first defeat in the hands of Garou. At the same time, Saitama would fall in love that would bring out his dark side.

Mobile Game Coming Up

Besides the premiere of “One-Punch Man” Season 2 this year, the anime would also get a mobile game, Comicbook reports. Creators of the anime confirmed in late September at the “One Punch Man Fall Festival” Season 2 by debuting a promotional image of Saitama’s uppercut. The poster with an image of a large fist has yellow-and-red lettering.

The anime, created in 2009, started as a webcomic by One, the author’s pseudonym. It follows Saitama, the hero of “One-Punch Man” Season 2 who lives in a strange, disaster-prone world. As the strongest man in Z-City, he could defeat anyone or anything easily with only one punch. Since Saitama misses the thrill of fighting, he searches for a villain who could challenge him.
