Moto G5 Plus vs. Oppo F3 Plus: Comparison Of Specs & Features By Ajay Kadkol | Mar 23, 2017 04:59 PM EDT With the launch of Moto's next G5 smartphones, there's a competitor from Chinese firm, Oppo. Oppo has finally announced F3 and F3 Plus recently. Both the phones come at a different price segment. Taking a look at specifications for the Moto G5 Plus, details from GSMArena reveal a 5.2-inch IPS panel screen with a resolution of 424PPI. The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core chip alongside Adreno 506 graphics and 4GB of RAM. The G5 and the G5 Plus will run on the latest Nougat OS v7.0. A 12MP rear camera will also be able to autofocus on the subject, and also comes with a dual-LED two-tone flash. Internal storage options are limited to 64GB with an added option to expand the storage externally up to 256GB through the help of a micro-SD card. The Moto G5 Plus also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the front and also supports fast-charging technology. Their Chinese competitors, Oppo, on the other hand, have also come out with their latest smartphones, the F3 and the F3 Plus. While the Moto G5 Plus comes out of the box with Nougat OS, the F3 Plus is downgraded a bit with the phone running on Marshmallow OS. A complete spec sheet from Phone Arena mentions that the phone will be offered in Gold, Pink and Black(at least in India) variants. The F3 Plus, too, offers an expandable storage of 256GB while taking up the SIM2 Slot on the phone. It's equipped with Snapdragon 653 octa-core chipset with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 510 graphics. While the F3 Plus is superior in hardware at least on paper, Moto has been known to bring out near-to-stock operating systems on their phones. The camera on the F3 Plus is upped to 16MP at the back. The phone also supports fast charging and comes equipped with fast-charging technology. The major differences at least on paper are the processors and batteries, while the former has 3000mAh battery and the latter is equipped with a higher capacity 4000mAh battery.
