The computer hardware company Dell has garnered numerous positive reviews with their line of XPS series of laptop PCs for the last couple of years. Now it continues to improve the series with the Dell XPS 15 (2017).

On the outside, the Dell XPS 15 (2017) features a classy-looking aluminum chassis to give a professional look. To complete it, the inside has carbon-fiber armrests and keyboard tray. The laptop weighs around 4.5 pounds - a considerable weight compared to the features it has to offer.

The new laptop boasts a 15.6-inch 4K touchscreen, an Intel Core i7-7700 HQ Processor, a Nvidia GTX 1050 Graphics Processor and a 97 Watt-hour battery, among others. With these specifications and more, the Dell XPS 15 (2017) can perform on par with desktop PC's, anytime and anywhere.

The 15.6-inch screen display can calibrate to your preference, thanks to Adobe RGB, DCI-P3 and other color standards. The Dell XPS 15 (2017) has 1080p and 4K resolution options. This is a feature considerable for those in the photography and video businesses.

The Intel Core i7-7700 HQ Processor hooked on this laptop means twice the power and longer battery life. This means that the Dell XPS 15 (2017) can perform well for more around 6-9 hours, depending on the specifications. With the Nvidia GTX 1050 Graphics Processor, this laptop can render videos, pictures, 3D objects and other applications that use GPU acceleration in full detail. Although the GTX 1050 is only an entry-level graphics processor for gaming PC's, players using the XPS 15 can still enjoy casually slaying a few dragons or so.

Other features of the Dell XPS 15 (2017) include a 512GB SSD for storage (which can be upgraded up to 1TB), 16GB RAM (upgradeable to 32MB), a Windows 10 Home Operating System (upgradeable to pro), and other perks. These include two USB 3.0 ports, and HDMI 1.4 port for display, and card reader. Users can purchase the upgrades at a considerable price for the preferable performances.

Many people have compared the Dell XPS 15 (2017) and its features to many PC's, even MacBook Pro, with some believing that it outperforms the latter. Comparison aside, The Dell XPS 15 (2017) is indeed a laptop PC worth considering for work, play, and everything in between.
