iPad & iPad Pro 2017 Update: Possible Release, Features, Price, Rumors By Staff Reporter | Mar 22, 2017 09:11 AM EDT American multinational technology company Apple is known to the public for having high quality devices and one of these products is the new iPad Pro. So far, these are the latest news on Apple offering and its rumored features and specs. In the features of the iPad and iPad Pro, the device has a 10.5-inch screen display but it has the same physical size as the 9.7-inch previous device by Apple. It also has an increased screen resolution of 2,224 x 1,668 managing to have a better pixel-per-inch. The aspect ratio, however, might also change to allow the Cupertino-based company to have an outside dimension. An article by Forbes said that this is regardless of the current size of the iPad Pro. In addition, reports also said the Home Button device of the iPad and iPad Pro might get removed to have a Touch ID fingerprint scanner that could be found beneath the glass display. For the FaceTime users, no need to worry due to Apple retaining the FaceTime camera. In its price, Apple is currently on sale on their iPad products. The 9.7-inch product could now be bought for as low as $299 while the iPad Air 2 costs around $399. For iPad Pro, it would costs around $599 which could be lowered to $499. So far, there has been no pricing available for the device. An Express article said the new iPad product might be launched today. This rumor came from a report that the Apple Store will have a maintenance check between 3:00 am and 8:30 am on March 21. However, the date has come and there is no iPad product. The rumor of maintenance check from Apple is seen to be suspicious since the company pulls down the Apple Store for big events like product launching of devices like the iPad. In addition, the rumors coincides with the release of iPad Pro in the market. Other sources said that Apple will be releasing the new iPad this April. Invitations for the release event may be given this April since the company has been sending out invitations for the launching of the new products in the past two years.
