iPhone 8 News: Apple’s latest flagship will Feature ‘Water Drop Design’ Similar to the Original; New Look will Give Softer Aesthetic By Viona Villarica | Mar 21, 2017 10:17 AM EDT The most anticipated Apple's iPhone 8 is expected to bring an essential simple look. With the approaching of the company's 10th iPhone anniversary, however, it makes sense that Apple will design its latest flagship device similar to the original iPhone 10 years ago. A new report from Korea's ET News writes that Apple's iPhone 8 will feature a 'water drop design' on all edges, wrapping around the rear of the mobile. It's good to be noted that the 'water drop design' mentioned is very different from the 'tear drop design'. BGR gives out a report that Apple's iPhone 8 new look will carry an all-glass front and back with curved emphasis just like the flat iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s, giving a softer aesthetic than its predecessors. In this year's 10th iPhone anniversary, Apple will also show the character of 'Omaju' from the early works. For the new design of Apple's iPhone 8, the company will adopt a three-dimensional glass material on the back case of the mobile, making curves around the top, bottom, left and right edges. According to AppAdvice, the edge curves will be softer and rounded than the existing metal case edges. The report also mentions that there will be a metal frame around Apple's iPhone 8 border, claiming that the back glass is predicted to be more dramatically curved than the front glass. Curved glass design on both sides of the mobile certainly sounds like something Apple might interest in. Besides the Apple's iPhone 8 new look, other unverified news suggests that Apple's latest android handset will measure a new 5.8-inch display screen with a function area and a revolutionary 3D sensing front camera. iPhone 8 is also said to support wireless charging and carry a premium price over previous models, as reported by 9TO5Mac. Since none of these are confirmed, it's good to take this news with a grain of salt. Watch the video below for more information about Apple's iPhone 8 new look with the 'water drop design' feature.
