‘Overwatch’ News & Update: Take a Peek on the Newest Patch Features, Heroes, Bug Fixes and More! By Desy Serona staff@droidreport.com | Mar 22, 2017 12:37 PM EDT Blizzard Entertainment recently unveiled the details of the latest patch notes for the PTR version of "Overwatch." The PTR version of the game is only available for PC for now, but the changes made to the PTR version will also be applied to the console versions when it's officially released. According to Cinema Blend, one of the major changes that were made to "Overwatch" is that there will now be details about the unique backstories of each of the heroes, which are outlined in their Hero Gallery. There will also be added information about the skins that are attached to their lore. Draws in the Competitive Play was one of the major issues Blizzard also addressed. A lot of "Overwatch" players complained about the frequent draw match results that remove the intensity of the match. They have fixed a bug which removed the "60 seconds remaining" and "30 seconds remaining" that displays during the second round of the match. During the PTR build of "Overwatch," developers have fixed an issue that is focused on allowing empty player slots to be displayed even while it's disabled. Also, fixing a bug that prevented the pause feature from working after the host left the match was addressed. For Lucio players out there, Blizzard made some changes to his skills in particular. Mic Network Inc. reported that Lucio's healing aura has been buffed by 50 percent. His movement speed during Wall Ride and when leaping off walls were also increased. Lucio's sound-wave projectiles also now travel faster and his alternate fire now accounts to vertical positioning. Lucio was the only "Overwatch" hero who received major tweaks this time around; however Blizzard also fixed some bugs with the other heroes including Bastion, D.Va, Mercy, Mei, Ana, and Sombra. Bugs preventing gamers from unlocking achievements during competitive off-season matches were also fixed. "Overwatch" maps also had minor fixes, most of them focused on exploits that some players were using to glitch around the map and gain an advantage on the opposing team.
