Latest reports claim that Flagship Killer will be coming with a new glass design, IP68 rating and with a new matte black color variant, just like OnePlus 3T. According to a Gizbot, the OnePlus 5 might feature a ceramic build as the Xiaomi Mi Mix. The publication also claims that the OnePlus might opt for an all-glass design for the upcoming flagship killer that will give it a more premium look. OnePlus 5 is also said to come with an IP68 rating which will make the phone water and dust resistant. Apparently, the OnePlus 3T has lacked this feature, but upcoming flagship is expected to have it. OnePlus 3T and its predecessor OnePlus 3 are currently two of the best smartphones in 2016. Moreover, the huge success that the newer 3T brought to the company has led to the launch of a new and limited edition version dubbed as OnePlus 3T Colette Edition. The latest reports from Nashville Chatter Class, however, speculate that the new matte Black color variant of the Colette Edition could just be with upcoming OnePlus 5. The upcoming OnePlus 5 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch dual-curved edge AMOLED display with an FHD 1080p display resolution. The device also said to pack a 6GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. On the optic side, the smartphone is set to arrive with a 25MP main camera and a 12MP snapper for selfies. Furthermore, the OnePlus 5 is expected to come featuring a glass and aluminum body and with a USB-Type C connector. iPhone killer will be having 4000mAh of battery with Dash Charge feature. On the software front, Android 7.1 Nougat is expected to run on the device out of the box.
