The phone will be called Huawei P10 and P10 plus which were unveiled last month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Reports indicate that the phone has already witnessed its launch in the United Kingdom for a price of £299. Carrier services like Vodafone and EE have already begun registering pre-orders for the new Huawei P10 Lite and P10 plus will also be offered without a cell carrier plan, starting Mar. 31. The following details from Gadgets360 also reported that Huawei has retained its hardware design to their other and similar flagship smartphones. The phone has a curved glass on the front alongside metal edges for enhanced rigidity. Color choices for the Huawei P10 Lite and P10 plus includes 'Midnight Black' and 'Platinum Gold' options with a ceramic sandblasted finish on its back. Huawei, like the Nexus 6P, has moved the fingerprint scanner to the back of the phone for both models and the phone runs on Android's latest Nougat OS combined with Huawei's EMUI skin on the top. Its hardware specifications revealed from Digit highlight its weight to 142 gms with a thickness of 7.2mm. The phone runs on an octa-core Kirin 658 chip powered by 4GB of memory. Kirin in the past has produced some high quality multi-core mobile chips. The phone's internal storage is limited to 32GB and can be expanded to a peak capacity of 128GB through the help of an external micro-SD card. The phone is powered by 3000mAh of battery that also offers a dual-SIM option for users. Connectivity options on the phone include NFC and all other common options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The phone sports a 12MP camera sensor on the rear while it's also equipped with a front-facing 8MP selfie camera.
