It is, however, believed that the upcoming Korean flagship phones will be having curved edge displays. Apart from that, both phones will have a combination of glass and metal build. Both Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will also have the physical home button, which gives its users a wider screen. According to the Korean news site ET News, three Korean carriers will start accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 plus starting April 17. Apart from the early pre-order, another event which most fans are looking forward to is the Special Galaxy S8 pre-launch day that will most likely take place the following day at several stores. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be available for sale starting April 21 However, another report noted by Indian Express which sheds light on the camera details of Samsung Galaxy S8 for the first time. The report claims that the S8 will be able to record 1000fps videos. This is almost 5 times better than the 240fps slow motion on the Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Sony Xperia XZ Premium that was announced at Mobile World Congress 2017 can manage slow-mo videos at up to 960 fps. So Samsung might be using the same technique as Sony by adding extra DRAM to the camera sensor itself.
