The Japanese tech company also revealed that the Xperia XA1's larger variant named the Xperia XA1 Ultra will hit the shelves this summer with a slightly higher price. Clove, a UK-based retailer blog focusing on technology, reported that people from Europe who are anticipating for the Sony Xperia XA1 will be delighted to find out that some European retailers have already ordered some stocks of the phone. Their reservations of the phone's stocks are ahead of the device's scheduled launch. In addition, the retailer blog also confirmed that the shipping of the Sony Xperia XA1 will kick off on April 10. This is a couple of weeks ahead of the phone's scheduled arrival. Currently, Clove is accepting pre-orders for the Sony Xperia XA1 for £229 or about $280. Phone Arena has reported that the smartphone will be available in four different colors like white, black, pink and gold. The Sony Xperia XA1 will sport an octa-core MediaTek processor. It would be paired with 3GB of RAM and a considerable 32GB of internal memory, which is also expandable. GSM Arena has reported that the Sony Xperia XA1 will also have a 23MP primary camera that would feature Sony Exmor RS sensor. The device would also come with an 8MP front camera and a 5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Sony Xperia XA1 will also offer 4G, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB type-C. The phone is 8mm thick and it weighs 143g. Meanwhile, the larger variant of the Sony Xperia XA1 will have a bigger 6-inch Full-HD resolution display, which is 1080p. In addition, the Xperia XA1 Ultra will have a 16MP front camera. It will also sport the same MediaTek chip but it would be equipped with 4GB of RAM.
