The company is expected to announce the much-awaited Surface Pro 5 at its October event. It had been hoped that the 2-in1 hybrid would be unveiled at the end of last year when the Surface Studio came out. However, that didn't happen. Then there was the MWC 2017, where Surface patrons have series anticipated an unveiling or at the very least an update, here also they got nothing. As the radio silence from Microsoft continues, in the meant me there are some rumors doing the rounds which claim that we could yet see the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 out in spring 2017. However, there's nothing solid to go on and certainly no official word from Microsoft about the rumors, as per PC Advisor. Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to feature the Intel "Kaby Lake" Core i7 processor. This new chipset improves overall performance and also helps save the battery life. However different reports say that Surface Pro 5 will be having Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor instead of Intel Kaby Lake that would extend the device's battery life. The Surface Pro 5 is likely to come equipped with a 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The Surface Pro 5 is also rumored to feature a rechargeable Surface Pen. Moreover, reports suggest that the tablet PC might sport a 12.3-inch Ultra HD/4K displays, USB Type-C support, and a robust battery, According to Market Exclusive. Microsoft is possible to launch the Surface Pro 5 in its October event as the company had announced the Surface Pro 4 in October 2015. Interestingly, Microsoft has also removed the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 from its online store that is also leading to speculate that Company is gearing up to launch the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 2017, as reported by DigitalTrends.
